Following her career start in beauty editorial at Glamour Magazine, Aggie Burnett parlayed her experience into founding and growing an NYC travel e-zine called The Underground Velvet. In 2012 she launched a niche fragrance brand, Nomaterra Fragrances. In 2015, she helped launch a women-focused, eco-conscious fashion and beauty pop-up in Soho. While running these businesses for the last 7 years, she struggled to find any resources and accessible experts that provided insight on content strategies specifically for lifestyle start-ups. As a result, she built her own proprietary editorial system for content ideation, execution, search engine optimization and distribution, drawing on her journalism, e-commerce, and start-up background. She founded AB Creative to help other lifestyle and beauty companies create result-driven content campaigns that resonate on an authentic and emotional level. Aggie also lends her 10+ years of expertise to business and women’s publications, entrepreneurial conferences and founder organizations. She is a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council and has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Time Out New York, and InStyle amongst other publications.
